As a non-profit organization, our focus is on Emotional Intelligence (EI). We offer a variety of emotionally intelligent play programs to K-12 grade students, with a focus on trauma informed teaching, foster and adoptive youth AND their parents, and those in the neurodivergent community. We do this through film and media production, television, animation, improve, and theatre. CAED is an organization whose goal is to promote emotional awareness and mindfulness for kids of all backgrounds (and their parents).
As important as emotional intelligence is, we strive to provide better representation in media and theater, to marginalized groups, on their level, in their classrooms, through creativity and improv. We provide trainings to create quality entertainment through art and self-expression, by teaching kids of all backgrounds, safe and responsible ways to channel their emotions, pique their curiosity, practice safe conflict resolution, and personal responsibility.
